F and J from Australia reached out to me 2 months before their big day. They had booked the venues : the ceremony would be held at Chèvre d’Or in Eze and the dinner and party at famous hotel Metropole. The couple wanted something that their guests would not have seen before, their guidelines for the entertainment theme were Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby, Cirque du Soleil and La Soirée cabaret shows. The main focus was put on the shows and creating a memorable evening for their guests. We had just eight weeks to pull together intricate details, precise programmation and all within the very challenging setting of the Odyssey poolside designed by Karl Lagerfeld of the Hotel Metropole.
Florrie chose two dresses for the occasion, a stunning Vera Wang gown with satin bodice for the ceremony and a strap-less form fitting lace number by designer Inbal Dror for the reception and party. Her bridesmaids were dressed in blush-pink Zimmermann and little flower girl in off-white Oscar de la Renta.
Jason’s attention to detail and perfection was very high level. He wanted to ensure his guests were blown away and catered for in the best of ways. He carefully chose Vintage Cristal and Dom Pérignon to accompany the beautiful menu by michelin star chef Joël Robuchon, each performance was reviewed and the evening scheduled to the minute ; guests were offered goodie bags including hats for the sun, beauty products, French chocolate, selfie sticks, Red Bull : a small indication of the big night ahead of them.
At 2am, Florrie slipped on her 3rd pair of Louboutins and the party continued at Twiga night club in Monte-Carlo until the early hours of the morning.
From the words of the bride : « It was the best party and best production I have ever seen in my life ».
Thanks to F and J for their trust. I often get news from Florrie whom I created a special link with throughout the build-up to the wedding.
