A and J, from Los Angeles, chose to marry in Nice, a very meaningful city for Aline and her family. With many activities, castles to explore, art to admire and beaches to enjoy all within a short distance of each other, Nice was the perfect destination.
On the wedding day, Aline got ready at the famous Hotel Negresco where was to be held the evening reception. Aline wanted delicate accessories to complement the chiffon, feathery feel of her Monique Lhuillier gown. Her flower hairpin was by Mimi Jools and her bouquet was made of white delicate blooms and light greenery.
The orthodoxe wedding ceremony was held at the Anglican church in Nice. The beautiful bridesmaids wore gold sequined Dolce & Gabbana dresses with chokers handmade by the Bride herself to fit within the vintage theme.
The ceremony was unique incorporating American, French and Armenian traditions into the service. The decorations were kept very simple, the church itself being so stunning. A lot of white flowers were used to enhance the decor.
After the ceremony, A and J set-off in the 1950s Aston Martin, rented for the occasion, for a photo shoot in the cobbled streets of Nice and along the seafront.
The dinner reception was held at the five-star Palace Hotel Negresco along the famous Promenade des Anglais. A venue which perfectly fit in with the royal vintage theme. Beautiful white chandeliers covered in white and green flowers made stunning centerpieces, the table cards were specially made by an American designer. Each table had a different member of French royalty.
A typical French band played standards during cocktail and dinner. Guests chose their favorites and participated in the singing.
For dessert, A and J chose an American style cake created especially for their theme with white roses and gold leaves alongside a golden macaroon tower by Ladurée.
At the end of the evening the guests went home with a beautiful Murano vase vintage wrapped by Mimi Jools.
